Tyrone L. Watts, Pastor and Founder of Lifted Love Ministry, was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. He is the devoted husband to Cheryl Watts, and a proud father of three. As a teenager, Pastor Watts knew that God had given him a zeal to preach the gospel. At the young age of 16, he ministered his first sermon at Powderly Church of Christ in Birmingham.
After graduating from high school, Pastor Watts joined the U.S. Army. He later moved back to Birmingham, and became a member of Triumphant Ones Ministries, where he was called to preach under the leadership of Pastor Gary Cooper, Sr. In 2002, Pastor Watts and his family became members of The Refiner’s House (now known as Refresh Family Church). He received his certificate in Biblical and Lay Members Counseling in 2008. On March 28, 2010, he was ordained as an Elder by Apostle Stephen A. Davis. Pastor Watts trained and studied at Liberty University, preceding studies from Briarwood Theological Seminary, and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University. In December 2013, by unction of the Holy Spirit, he was led to begin a ministry that will minister God’s love to a dying world. At this point Lifted Love Ministry was just a thought, it became a seed in 2016. In 2014, Pastor Watts submitted himself under the teaching of Dr. Terry Ellison, Pastor of New Life Birmingham. He continued to operate as an elder until God led him to begin the ministry. On March 10, 2019, Dr. Terry Ellison ordained and licensed him as the Pastor of Lifted Love Ministry.
